Following the completion an apprenticeship with Eastern Electricity, Declan graduated as a Cable Jointer / Linesman. Here he gained his grounding in EHV and HV systems, before being promoted up through the company. Some highlights of his career are being instrumental in the setup of the Emergency response service for system abnormalities, and managing a number of projects in the Middle East for the international arm of Hanson Group

An Electrical Engineer with 27 years experience in the Electricity Supply Industry. I have held various positions from an Apprenticeship to a Senior Authorised Person with Eastern Electricity. The last 13 years as Project Manager of major projects within Distribution Network companies, Siemens and large industrial companies.
